Crawley Down Village Centre

Do you have things that need repairing?

The Crawley Down & Turners Hill Repair Café meets on the 4th Saturday of the month and offers minor repairs to :

  • BICYCLES
  • CAMERAS
  • CLOCKS
  • CLOTHING
  • COMPUTERS
  • CROCKERY
  • FURNITURE
  • JEWELLERY
  • LEATHER ITEMS
  • ORNAMENTS
  • MOBILE PHONES
  • SMALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS
  • TEXTILES
  • TOYS
  • WOODEN ITEMS

Can you repair things and show others how to?

The Crawley Down & Turners Hill Repair Cafe is looking for local residents to volunteer as experts at Repair Cafe meetings.

It’s a simple idea; once a month the Repair Cafe brings together local people who can repair things with local people who have things that need repairing. The Repairers are all volunteers. Owners stay with their items so they can see how it’s repaired and make their own repairs in future. If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee; or you can volunteer and lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.

There’s no charge for repairs but donations are welcome.

The Crawley Down & Turners Hill Repair Café meets on the 4th Saturday of the month 10.30am-12.30pm
